The Fishermen's Associations La Tiñosa and Playa Blanca improve security at their dry docks
02-11-2015
The Fishermen's Association La Tiñosa and Playa Blanca, located in Lanzarote (Las Palmas), have decided to improve security at their facilities with the acquisition of boat stands that have quality and engineering certificates. Almarin has supplied boat stands for more than 30 boats in both associations, for sailboats and motorboats. The boat stands, made of galvanized steel, stand out for their light weight (about 20kg / unit) and their easy handling and storage. This system improves the productivity of the dry dock staff, since it reduces the means necessary for its transport and storage.
The boat stands are attached to each other by a cross chain to the boat, joining them on opposite sides and thus maximizing the stability of the assembly. These supports, which are characterized by being economical and safe, have been CE certified and have their structural calculations endorsed by engineers in Spain; In addition, the production of boat stands is controlled by Almarin, a company certified with ISO 9001.
