ALMARIN is a leading manufacturer of marine aids to navigation (AtoN). Its specialty within this niche market is the development and manufacture of navigation buoys and marine beacons, which stand out for their innovation and quality. Almarin's technical staff is in constant search of optimal solutions to solve the challenges of its customers, with countless innovations in the most extreme conditions around the world. In its beacons and buoys, Almarin incorporates maritime lanterns and other electronic equipment from the world's first manufacturer, SPX, which includes the Sabik, Carmanah and Vega brands. Almarin is part of Lindley Group, which is formed by four companies established since 1930, with 90 years of experience in the supply and manufacture of harbour and industrial equipment and infrastructure.

Lindley Group companies differentiate themselves in the market by their powerful technical capacity and the quality of their products. Lindley and Almarin share their specialty in floating equipment for the marine environment and Almovi's activity is focused on lifting equipment. Since 2008, Almarin is a member of the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA). This entity provides guidelines and recomendations for the design of aids to navigation; Almarin incorporates the majority of the association’s recommendations into the design of its products.

Almarin adheres to the IALA Code of Conduct for industrial members, approved at the General Assembly in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 1, 2023. The objective of this document is to define the actions that members commit to undertake as associates. You can download the IALA Code of Conduct here.
