Home | Marinas and Harbours | Mooring Systems Mooring Systems Lindley has a wide experience in the selection and design of mooring systems for floating infrastructure in marinas, docks, dams and reservoirs, navigation channels and rivers. Our equipment is prepared for mooring by piles, metal profiles, radius arms, and chains or elastic moorings connected to reinforced concrete sinkers. Based on the design parameters of each application, we can select and design the best mooring system. Pile Guides Pile guides have been design for mooring all types of Lindley pontoons and breakwaters. These guides has a strong welded and hot dip galvanized steel structure and low friction polyethylene wearing blocks. Wall Guides Wall guides has vertical guides in HEB beams made of galvanized steel. This equipment are equipped with low friction and impact attenuation system, as well as an adjusting device to minimize any slack. Radius Arms Radius arms are manufactured with anti-corrosive treatment. Designs using tubular rod, "A" frame or radius arms have been developed but can be customized for each application. Chains and Sinkers The chains and sinkers are widely used where tidal variations are minimal. Pile Driving Lindley has the capability to perform pile driving works for mooring pontoons, both in sandy and sludge soils or even in more demanding applications such as clayey and rocky soils. Elastic Mooring Systems This mooring system is designed for the subjection of floating pontoons. A reinforced elastomer element with a mooring eye at each end is incorporated into the mooring line.
