Altea Nautical Club acquires a new 50Ton travelift
28-11-2014
The Altea Yacht Club invests in a new higher capacity travelift with the aim of expanding its dry dock services thanks to the success of the management in this area. The new Marine Travelift machine can lift vessels of up to 50 tons and replaces the previous 35-ton machine from the same manufacturer that the club had in its facilities until now. The new gantry on wheels has been delivered turnkey by Almarin, distributor of the Marine Travelift brand in Spain.
The machine, model Marine Travelift 50BFMII with CE certificate, was installed earlier this month and has the most advanced features on the market to provide greater productivity on the dock, such as double lifting speed on winches, remote control and additional zinc paint. Almarin has been in charge of the entire acquisition and assembly process of the new machine. As part of the contract, Almarin assumes its maintenance for the next 5 years, as was done with the 35Tn model that Almarin supplied to the club in 2009, thus guaranteeing a reliable and continuous service to the clients of the yacht club. Almarin will also be in charge of managing the sale of the 35Ton travelift.
