Almarin provides blue lanterns to mark the end of the pontoons

According to the last regulation of Puertos del Estado (Spain), the marine lantern must be a fixed blue light of 1NM, on top of a support of no more than 1m in height.

Blue lights signal the end of the docks to improve safety in marinas. According to the last regulation of Puertos del Estado, the marine lantern must be a fixed blue light of 1NM, on top of a support of no more than 1m in height. Almarin, a port equipment and services company, supplies these lights to mark the end of the jetty. This light cannot replace a beacon that is included in the port's beacon plan. The marina or yacht club that has docks within a dock can install the lights without requesting authorization from the local Port Authority, provided they meet the aforementioned criteria.
