New marine onshore beacon in Tarragona

Almarin has supplied a green cylindrical onshore beacon with a white lower stripe, five meters high, which has a powerful marine lantern, up to 14 nautical miles, with greater range compared to the previous one. Due to the impossibility of terrestrial access, the beacon was manufactured modular to be transported by hand to its location and assembled in an easy way.

For this new signal, civil works have been carried out to reinforce the concrete base. Almarin also supplied the provisional marking, which was installed until the definitive beacon was available. In 2018, Almarin renewed two other beacons at the entrance to the port, specifically at the end of the inner shelter breakwater and at the end of the breakwater. The Tarragona marina has 441 moorings for boats from 6 to 20 meters in length.
