The breakwater of Ibiza port houses a new dock to moor boats during storms

Ibiza port has installed a new pontoon at the breakwater to provide temporary moorings, allowing boats to be sheltered during storm situations. This measure addresses the insufficient shelter in several areas of Eivissa port during contingency situations.

Almarin, through Professional Submarine Services (Serprosub), has supplied and installed an aluminum pontoon with concrete floats, from the Lindley brand, measuring about 180 meters in length. Two walkways, one at each end of the dock, provide access to the infrastructure. The mooring system used consists of articulated radius arms to adjust the infrastructure to the tide movements.
