08-07-2020
The Marina Pedreña, located in the Bay of Santander in Cantabria and with 230 moorings, is just finishing the second phase of the works to improve its facilities, carried out by the construction company Ciomar. Its main actions include the renovation of more than fifty water and electricity service towers, the supply of which has been carried out by Almarin.
These Quantum model turrets are manufactured with an extruded anodized aluminum structure and are resistant to the marine environment, in addition to being totally watertight since internally they have compartments segregated for light, electricity and water. In addition, they have a stainless steel hose holder and an LED lighting head at the rear.
Actions of great importance have also been carried out, such as the new fixed concrete jetty, a new 6.3-ton crane for hoisting ships, new windmills and solar panels, as well as pipelines to supply natural gas to the port.
