Lindley provides new hazard buoys

Siguiendo las recomendaciones de la IALA, plasmados en el Regulamento de Balizamiento Marítimo Nacional, los obstáculos en la navegación deben ser adecuadamente señalizados con dos boyas de emergencia

Lindley, with the support of its partner Almarin, has supplied two new hazard buoys to the Administração dos Portos de Setúbal e Sesimbra. The term 'new hazards' is used to refer to obstructions that are not yet marked in nautical charts. These obstructions can include both natural obstacles like sandbanks or rocky areas and those created by humans, such as sunken ships.

Following the recommendations of the IALA, as outlined in the National Maritime Buoyage Regulation, navigation hazards must be properly marked with two emergency buoys. The availability of this equipment is increasingly important as it ensures maritime safety.

The buoys supplied by Lindley are part of the Balizamar range and comply with IALA standards. Designed and manufactured in Portugal, they feature a galvanized steel structure with a single-piece rotomolded polyethylene hull filled with expanded polystyrene foam. Additionally, they are equipped with compact self-contained lanterns with LED light sources in two rings (one amber and one blue).
