As part of the construction of the Tua River dam, Douro Azul and ACA Engenharia have chosen Lindley for the manufacturing and installation of docks in the locations of Barragem, Sobreda, Brunheda, Amieiro, and São Lourenço in Portugal to enhance navigability in these areas.

The pontoons are made of marine-grade aluminum with exotic wood decking and polyethylene floats. The accessories and finishes maintain aesthetic consistency. The installed equipment is designed and manufactured in Portugal, incorporating the latest developments in the Faro range to operate more flexibly, robustly, and durably while ensuring compatibility with any existing structure. In addition to the floating equipment, access controls, lighting, electricity, and water services have been installed, along with emergency and safety pedestals.

One of the challenges of this project has been the installation process, as it required detailed planning in coordination with ACA Engenharia, as well as special means to access remote areas where the pontoons were installed.

From Lindley Group we build piers to open new leisure spaces in natural locations. The piers are made of materials that adapt to their environment, either with a wooden structure in a quieter setting or with a metal structure designed for more demanding conditions, such as one designed for boarding passengers.
