The Lindley Group has just signed an agreement to represent the American brand Hazelett Marine in Spain and Portugal. The group will promote its elastic moorings for anchoring maritime navigation aids and its ecological mooring buoys to avoid damaging the seabed. The Hazelett elastic mooring system is an advanced alternative to traditional chains. Based on an elastic mooring segment, they avoid the chains borneo on the seabed caused by the change of winds and tides. Being in constant tension, the mooring line does not touch the seabed, except at its anchor point, which can be a dead end or a helical anchor. In turn, the elastic segment absorbs in a smooth and proportional way, similar to the catenary of a chain, the stresses applied to the surface buoys. Energy absorption reduces loads on boat connection points and eliminates jerky chain movements in adverse weather conditions.

Hazelett Marine's solution, launched in the early 1980s and with more than 15,000 anchors made, offers users the necessary security to leave their boats at anchor with minimal impact to the ecosystem of the seabed. Almarin is one of the leading companies in the field of maritime navigation aids. The company is part of the Lindley Group, founded in 1930 with the constitution of Ahlers Lindley in Portugal.
