QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENT
The Management of the company ALMARIN, Equipos y Servicios Portuarios, S.L. undertakes the commitment to apply a Quality and Environmental Policy implemented within the framework of a Quality and Environmental Management System in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, respectively, and which covers all people and areas of the organization, its scope being "Design, production management, distribution and installation of Signaling Equipment and Solutions for navigation and ports", at its facilities at C/Costa Brava nº 25, Local 10, 08030 – Barcelona , Rúa Cronista Rodríguez Elias, 2, 7A and 7B 36209 Vigo (Spain) and at client facilities where our services are provided.
ALMARIN focuses on the Integrated Quality and Environment System as a way of organizing the operation of the company based on basic pillars such as the quality of its products, the satisfaction of the interested parties, in addition to managing environmental aspects, emergencies, the risks, the legal requirements and the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the System. For this, ALMARIN GIS is based on:
- The master lines of the Integrated Quality and Environmental System that are reflected in the Quality-Environment Manual, which is conceived as a result of a periodic analysis of our context and analysis of risks and opportunities. This makes the integrated policy acquire a strategic vision of the company and it is for this reason that compliance is declared mandatory, with all personnel assuming the responsibilities defined therein.
- The strategic line of the organization, which is committed to complying with the environmental legislation and regulations applicable to our activities, and health and safety prevention applicable to our workers, as well as with other commitments that may be established in this regard, striving to continually improve our environmental performance.
- Promote efficient use of available natural resources and continuously intensify our environmental management to obtain improvements in the overall behavior of the company, with a focus on life cycle analysis, environmental protection and pollution prevention.
- Identify and control the environmental aspects of the organization and the risks, in such a way that we establish a preventive approach.
- The publication, on an annual basis, of the Quality and Environment objectives, making them extensive to all personnel; These must be well known and assumed so that the daily tasks lead to their achievement in the shortest possible time.
- Train and sensitize the organization's staff regarding environmental performance, as well as provide the necessary resources for the proper functioning of the environmental system.
- The technical and scientific knowledge available and the appropriate practices for the prevention of environmental contamination and the minimization of the environmental impact in all processes and services, trying to achieve the continuous improvement of environmental quality.
- Training in all the areas that are specific to them, both in the technical, administrative, commercial and environmental branches, thus being able to achieve a greater motivation of the staff and a greater involvement in achieving the objectives under a positive environment.
- The commitment to pay maximum attention to technological developments and possible improvements that new technologies make available to us, and including the commitment of our suppliers to the services they provide us.
ALMARIN understands that the Quality of the company goes through Customer Satisfaction to be a trusted brand, for the Continuous Improvement of the efficiency of the system and for respect for the Environment, always with the maximum Prevention and Health Safety of our workers.
ALMARIN Management approves and annually reviews the integrated system and will maintain a system for the identification of training needs and its planning, aimed at guaranteeing compliance of our personnel with this policy.
In this sense, Quality and Environmental Management requires everyone's participation and collaboration, so this Policy is disseminated to all its interested parties, and especially, to all company personnel for their knowledge and understanding.
